BIO:
Karime Sanchez Bradvica began her career with Pacific Telephone shortly after college graduation. Her 25 year career has taken her to assignments in Outside Plant Engineering, Construction/Engineering Division Staff, Leadership Development, Network Engineering and External Affairs.
Currently the Vice President of External Affairs at AT&T, she is responsible for representing the business externally as well as overseeing the government affairs, community relations and corporate affairs of the corporation in 26 cities and 20 communities. Karime manages contact activities of a team of external affairs area managers in the entire Metro Los Angeles, Boyle Heights, Southeast Los Angeles and South Bay areas.
Karime is a native of Mexico City and immigrated from Mexico at age 10 along with her brother and sisters. They settled in Los Angeles where she attended school in the Los Angeles Unified School District. At age 11 she first set her eyes on the University of Southern California determining then that she would attend that school. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from USC in Business Administration.
Karime currently serves on the boards of USC Mexican American Alumni Association, New Economics for Women, National Latina Business Women Association, Latin Business Association Corporate Advisory Board and Hispanas Organized for Political Equality Advisory Board.
Due to her commitment and dedication to the communities she serves, Karime has been recognized by many organizations including being selected as Woman of the Year by Senator Martha Escutia (30th Senatorial District), selected as Woman of the Year by the Mexican American Opportunities Foundation, awarded the Corporate Responsibility Award by MALDEF and recognized as the Latina Executive by National Latina Business Women's Association-L.A. Chapter among others. In 2003 and 2004 she was listed as one of Hispanic Magazine's Top Latinas.
Karime, her husband and niece/daughter love to travel and have been to many destinations.
